All the racers are out on the trail now. Aside from the excitement of the begining of the race, there isn't much to report yet. About 10 mushers have hit the first checkpoint already at Yentna Station, which is about 53 miles from the starting point in Willow. Next stop is Skwenta, which is another 30 miles from Yentna. I imagine that when we wake up on Monday, we'll find the leaders close to coming in to the Rainy Pass checkpoint. Martin Buser is leading at the moment, but as he had bib #2, that isn't too surprising! We'll see where he is in the morning.
